The Team
Chirag Bariya
Native of Hindoliya village, Dungarpur. Member of the Bhil tribe. Chirag brings granular, lived understanding of the ecosystem VDIF operates in — from panchayat politics to bureaucratic friction to seasonal migration patterns. He designed VDIF's thesis: that district-level organizations can outperform national ones at the last mile.
Clara Mallik
Daughter of Keshab Chandra Mallik, who brings deep expertise in rural development through his work with PRADAN (Professional Assistance for Development Action). Clara contributes governance structure, compliance oversight, and institutional credibility to VDIF's leadership.

VDIF operates as a Section 8 Non-Profit Company under the Companies Act 2013 — the most regulated and transparent legal structure available for Indian non-profits.
